Oxford Heights is located on the north side of Lougheed HWY and Port Coquitlam. You can find some absolutely amazing deals here for under $700,000. It appears that a pool installer must have lived in the area and was giving people discounts because quite often you might find a home with outdoor pool. As an added bonus all of the homes here will have some sort of view of the local majestic west coast mountains.

If you are looking for real estate in Port Coquitlam for under $700,000 you can definitely see something worth viewing in person here.

Hyde Creek runs through this area where there are some really nice trails to walk, run or bike and if your looking for a local park to throw the ball for the dog or a place to take your kids to play Chelsea Park is located at 1277 Chelsea Ave Port Coquitlam. Chelsea Park is 1.8 Hectares in size and has a playground with swings and slides, wood trails, picnic tables are areas and plenty of green space to play a sport with family or friends.

The local Schools in the area for families on the move are Ecoles des Pionniers 3550 Wellington St. Port Coquitlam (604)552-7915 which is a French Immersion School as well as Irvine Elementary 3862 Wellington St Port Coquitlam (604)941-3408. Both are fantastic schools but can fill up. We highly recommend you call before you move into that dream home to double check there is room in the school for your children in the year you plan to move.

Public Transit runs all throughout Port Coquitlam . One common route for the bus runs down Lincoln Dr and can take you too the West Coast Express Train Station to get you to Downtown or to Coquitlam Bus Loop and car pool station which can connect you to the Skytrain.

Hyde Creel Recreation Centre is at 1379 Laurier Ave. Port Coquitlam (604)927-7946. Here is a great place to get some exercise indoor. The facility holds racquetball and squash courts with some very competitive players who live and play locally. There is also a lap pool, leisure pool, climbing wall, whirl pool, steam room and sauna in the 55,000 sq ft. inside the centre.
