Glenwood Port Coquitlam real estate is on the northern side of the Lougheed Hwy between Shaughnessy  St., Lincoln and Coast Meridian. The local schools in the area are Ecole Kwayhquitlum Middle School (3280 Flint St Port Coquitlam (604)942-1835) and Hope Lutheran Church and Christian School (3151 York St. Port Coquitlam (604)941-532). Ecole Hope Lutheran is a private school which teaches from kindergarten to grade 12 which started as an outreach ministry in 1995. The school currently has over 300 students in total for their k-12 program

Nearby within minutes there is an Earls, Safeway, Kinder Café, Vision Electronic and ICBC all in the same outdoor mall located at 1930 Oxford Connector, Port Coquitlam. There are also local coffee shops, churches and convenience stores located within this general area.

Aggie Park and Lions Park are located across Lougheed Hwy form each other. Here you can take the dog for a long walk and breath in some crisp clear mountain air. Lions park went under construction for the new children’s playground, new washroom facility, new promenade pathway and gathering plaza constructed in 2014. Coming is a new spray park and renovated picnic shelter-pending funding approval.

A lot of the beauty in Port Coquitlam is largely due to the fact the streets and surrounding views are of trees. Port Coquitlam is surrounded by beautiful West Coast forests and majestic mountains that cap with snow over the winter months . In every park school and on a lot of peoples properties you will find lush green strong tree that are filled with all sorts of wonderful wildlife like squirrels and local birds.
