More About Central Port Coquitlam

Central Port Coquitlam has an excellent public transportation system and buses run here approximately every 15-20 minutes depending on the bus stop. From some of the homes Coquitlam Centre’s transit links is walking distance and from there you can get to the local Skytrain and be Downtown Vancouver within a matter of minutes. There is also a West Coast Express Train Station located in Port Coquitlamwhich can take you directly to Downtown Vancouver quite quickly.

A lot of the detached homes in this area have rentable suites. It is common to find houses with even two rentable suites here which can help younger families with additional income. Because of the convenience of transportation in the area and that there are a lot of local amenities, renting out the suites aren’t typically a hard task and you can get a fair amount of additional income from this. Talk to your mortgage broker and find out if you can get a renter beforehand, to see if it is possible to get a larger approval amount to get that dream home that you though was out of reach 😉
