The Crest in the Eastern section of Burnaby is an area very close to New Westminster and local major HWY and transit routes. The private Christian School may have some requirements for admission and the public may fill up quickly. Its always a good idea to call ahead and speak with the school to make sure your child will be allowed to partake in the school year you intend on moving.

This part of Burnaby is located to the North of New Westminster bordering the city and also located right next to the TransCanada Highway, giving local residents an easy way to and from Downtown Vancouver.

As far as local places to eat in the area there are many local restarants including pizza places that deliver or if you are vegetarian the is an excellent place calle the Paradise Vegatarian Noodle House located at 8681 tenth Ave Burnaby BC which has great dinner dishes. In the same business park as the Noodle house are some excellent place to eat some cheesecake fried chicken and other kinds of food from different ethnicities.

Homes in this area are moderately priced in comparison to some the homes in the western side of Burnaby and closer to Vancouver. Here you can be sure to find a nice middle aged detached home, with a lower suite for rental income, in the $800,000’s.
