Grouse Mountain

Grouse Mountain is a highly popular local alpine ski area in North Vancouver. There are chairlifts, but many people go hiking up the Grouse (the trail is called the Grouse Grind) year around. It sits on the North Vancouver locality and is a North Shore Mountain in the Pacific Range in British Columbia.

Cypress Mountain

Cypress Mountain is located in West Vancouver, BC and situated in the south area of the Cypress Provincial Park. You can ski there as it is under a BC Parks Park Use Permit.

Mount Seymour Provincial Park has a skiing area, free parking, and a good rental system for skis, and fairly easy skiing slopes (great for beginners).
