Audi Club Western Canada

This is a local chapter of the Audi Club of North America (consisting of volunteers) in the four southwestern-most provinces of Canada. Plenty of social events, driving clinics, planned drives, and a lot more for driving enthusiasts.

This club aims towards preserving, restoring, and modifying Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac Beaumont, and El Camino, as well as other GM automobiles. This is a volunteer club.

Come, taste, see, listen, engage! White Rock has a ton to offer local residents and visitors. Below is a list of meetings, celebrations, and other happenings in chronological order for the rest of 2017.

  • May 7 – October 29, 2017 (Sundays 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM) – White Rock Farmers Market – Visit every Sunday for our community-based farmers market with tremendous vendor-produced goods, including fresh fruits and vegetables, and more!

As Fort McMurray residents are faced with unbelievable devastation and loss, we can reach out and help.    Scott Shaw, co-founder of Sutton Group and philanthropist, pledges to personally donate up to $100,000 to match all donations Sutton REALTORS® and their clients fund-raise in support of the Fort McMurray wildfire relief fund through the Canadian Red Cross.

All donations will be directed through the Sutton Group Wildfire Appeal - Chimp Charitable Campaign. Donors will receive instant tax receipts and Scott Shaw's matching funds pledge will double each donation to be forwarded to the Canadian Red Cross - Alberta Fires Appeal emergency fund.

West Coat Estates Professional Real Estate Marketing and Sutton Group West Coast Realty are participating in this years 21st Annual Realtors Care® Blanket Drive.


Starting November 16th until November 23rd, Realtors® who volunteer their time across BC will reach out to their clients, friends and family to coordinate donations of blankets and warm winter clothing for those most in need. The donations are then sorted and delivered to charities in the same community in which they were collected.

The Realtors Care® Blanket Drive began in 1995 and the program has helped more than 275,000 people in our communities keep warm and dry during the winter months.

Most cat owners are unaware that Lilies of any of the Lilium species are lethally toxic to cats! They are so very poisonous to cats, that just a simple bite onto the lily petal or licking the pollen for his or her paws can cause instant fatal kidney failure. Even drinking from the vase the lilies are held in can cause a kitty fatality.

All of Lilium family members can cause death in cats from a chemincal that is produced by the beautiful flowers. Easter Lillies are no exception. Infact, Stargazer Lillies, Asiatic Lillies and Easter Lillies are of the most fatal of species as well! Cala Lillies & Peace Lillies are not of the lilium group and therefore harmless to the little furry ones.

WHITE ROCK just might have one of the largest piers in Canada….

Council Member Dave Chesney brought forth a motion Monday January 26, requesting White Rock City staff to do some research on the city’s pier in order to find out if it is the longest pier in all of Canada.

Apparently rumour has it that the City of Campbell River has claimed the name of the largest pier in Canada with their 600 foot pier….Turns out White Rock's Pier is more than double their length!

White Rock Tourism has noted that they are totally ready to make up a large banner listing the fact that the pier is the largest in Canada as soon as the confirmation comes in.

The status of having the largest pier would definitely be an added bonus and welcome attribute for the
